Abstract

The development of magnetic materials has enabled the construction of permanent magnet synchronous machines at competitive costs. Machines of this type have a large number of poles and make it possible to develop considerable mechanical torques. This article presents a modeling of a permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG), outputting on a low voltage electrochemical accumulator battery, through a rectifier diodes in a small wind power system. After giving a general description and some characteristics of the wind turbine, a global system modeling is presented and the results of the simulation obtained using the Matlab-Simulink software are showed.
